 * Hi, I am building simple website for a non-profit organization and they have 
   volunteers who are non-technical to maintain the website, so i was wondering 
   does anyone know how I can have set it up so that I can use Visual/HTML editor
   to add content (images, hyperlink, texts) for the sidebar.php rather than go 
   direclty into the script and enter content.

    For cases like that I use the Plugin [Secondary HTML Content](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/secondary-html-content/)
   which lets you have multiple (ore one) visually editable extra HTML areas on 
   your site. Check it out.
