Hi under the Appearance tab…I can access my themes, widgets, menus and theme editor, but all of a sudden I cannot access customise, header or background. We finally published the website this week, and now have this problem. I have no problem at the moment with any pages, plugins etc… just these customising functions. Please can someone help me. I always build my websites via dreamweaver and html, but needed a more complex set up and databases for this project and am rather lost with what to do.

    – Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging and post the results.

Thank you so much. That was easy. I contacted Godaddy who hosts the site. They checked the plugins by disabling them all and it was fine. They then switched them back on and all I did was go through and delete them one at a time, check customiser after deleting a plugin, until I found the problem one. Luckily it was one I hadn’t actually started using yet, but sitting activated. Problem solved.

    Thank you
