# HTTP ERROR 500

 * As soon as I try to update from version 5.5 I get HTTP ERROR 500 and all pages
   stop working. Then I backed up the website it got normal again.
    I then deleted
   the plugin, and reinstalled from the scratch and “HTTP ERROR 500 showed again.
   That happens in all 5 websites I have. What is happening after version 5.5?
 * ps: Every update I try again to update to see if the error is solved but the 
   same situation happens.

 * HTTP 500 typically means that you have a fatal error on your website. My best
   guess is that you might have outdated AAM extensions that you need to update 
   first and then update AAM to the latest version. Here is one of the most common
