# HTTP Error

 * Version 2.1.2 is causing HTTP Error when I try to upload any image file.
 * I downgraded to version 2.1.0 and I have no issues.
 * I looked at the server logs and found this:
    PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Call
   to undefined function ewwwio_memory() in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/ewww-
   image-optimizer/image-editor.php on line 82″
 * It appears that is something related to protected function _save ($image, $filename
   = null, $mime_type = null)

 * Someone else mentioned that with 2.1.1, but the issue ended up being a corrupted
   download (or so it appeared), because it went away. I’ll double-check that thread,
   and see what I can track down. In the meantime, I would recommend deactivating
   and deleting the entire plugin folder (double-check it with your file manager),
   and then reinstall it to see if that has any affect.

 * Are you using any sort of php cache, like APC?

 * I’m using APC. Maybe if I have this issue in the future, I should try to clear
   the APC cache first?

 * That sounds like a likely culprit, although usually restarting php does the same
   thing. It would make sense for that other thread too, since it started working
   fine the next day, it was probably because the cache had finally cleared.
