• Hey,

I am looking for a gallery plugin at WP 3.6.1 and I installed nextgen 2.0.31. I cannot use it at all because the plugin fails to upload photo’s.

When I create an album and drag/drop pictures, the pictures are uploaded, but just after the pictures are uploaded an http error appears. In the end a notification saying “Upload succesfull, 0 pictures uploaded” pops up. Proposed solutions on fora don’t help. I chmoded the plugin folder to 777 and deactivated all my other plugins but I keep having this problem.

    PHP safe mode is on

  • You have to ask to your provider for the right permissions (or you have to update them automatically from control panel) and for set Safe Mode Off. Isn’t a Nextgen or WP problem.

Thank you it is solved indeed. Maybe this is the wrong thread to ask, but is there a way to trunicate all data in nextgengallery so that the ID’s of all my galleries, photo’s and albums start at 1 again?

Again, isn’t a Nextgen or WP problem, but a MySQL one, it’s the natural IDs’ auto increment in a database.
Indeed, is not at all a problem.
It doesn’t hurt anything to leave it that way.
