# http error uploading file

 * My problem is weird,
 * I get the http error while uploading an image to a post with the flash uploader,
   and a internal server error when using the classic one. But the uploader works
   well in Admin>multimedia>add new
 * Any suggestion?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Twelve theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of
   files & folder before uploading the new ones.

 * The thing is that this is a fresh new installation (no plugins yet) of a theme
   i’ve used dozens of times in many other servers… so I guess it’s a server thing.
   I’ve tried some things on the .htaccess but didn’t work yet.
