How should i fix it? I am confided. I thin Google can’t access my website anymore. You can check and verify this by using your Google Webmaster Tools account and using the Crawl >>> Fetch as Google tool. * If you have added additional custom .htaccess code then it is possible that your custom code is blocking Google. If the site comes back up then your Host does not allow you to lock your root .htaccess file. Go to the BPS htaccess File Editor tab page and click the Turn AutoLock Off button. * If the site does not come back up after changing the root .htaccess file permissions then delete the root .htaccess file and the wp-admin .htaccess files. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a nightmare. I did as you suggested and changed the .htacess file permission to 644. Nothing happened. The hosting company helped, and the site was up. However, if I try to put the name of it in the browser, or even in google search–holistichealthandnutrition.net, site isn’t there. It does come up however if I google the name of the person who owns the site. It was fine before. Very frustrating. Any suggestions? If you are talking about coming up in Google Searches/ranking then that is a completely different thing.
