# HTTP to HTTPS Not Working

 * Hello,
    So basically, I’ve been trying to get my site to HTTPS instead of HTTP.
   I’ve done this multiple times with other sites, but WordPress doesn’t want to
   seem to do it.
 * So when change my site url is [http://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/http-to-https-not-working/?output_format=md),
   it loads perfectly fine. As you can see below, the images load: [http://prnt.sc/e9bw4p](http://prnt.sc/e9bw4p)
 * Now, when I change just my site URL to “[https://&#8221](https://&#8221); it 
   fails. It gives me the following error in chrome (censored my url):
 * The example.com page isn’t working
 * example.com redirected you too many times.
 * Try clearing your cookies.
 * ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
 * I have tried everything, it does not want to load. Thanks for the time.
