 * Just curious..
 * I have two WordPress sites each on different domains and hostings but the themes
   and plugins are 98% the same. Just different content and topics.
 * Site A serves http pages and everything seem to work normally.
 * Site B serves http**s** pages and when I visit the top level sitemap index there
   is just plain text. Not the usual WordPress SEO generated page by Yoast.
 * [https://example.com/sitemap_index.xml](https://example.com/sitemap_index.xml)(
   plain text no Yoast generated page markup )
    [https://example.com/post-sitemap.xml](https://example.com/post-sitemap.xml)(
   all works ) [https://example.com/page-sitemap.xml](https://example.com/page-sitemap.xml)(
   all works )
 * Maybe some https error or the underscore or even the word index in sitemap is
   the problem?

 * I doubt if it is related to this plugin. Did you turn on debugging to see what’s
   going behind the scene on the top-level sitemap index file?

 * You have to exclude your sitemaps.
 * I’m still figuring out how to exclude the post-sitemaps.

 * I have removed this plugin for now..
 * Can’t get this to work, locally it works, on other domains it works with the
   same themes and plugins, and now as soon at I activate http**s** it doesn’t work
   anymore.
 * I’ll check in a few months if this problem is still around. Thanks anyway.

 * I am unable to get WP Supercache working with Amazon CDN on https. It works on
   my other domains with http, but if I changeover a site to https it flops. I have
   spent many hours re-installing, double checking my CDN setup etc. I have reluctantly
   had to remove this plugin and go back to W3 Total Cache.
