# HTTPS for my primary site WPMS

 * Hi,
 * I have a WordPress Multisite with subdirectories:
 * /en/ = primary site
    /nl/ = secondary site.
 * The domain for my secondary site is [https://www.marketingbright.com/nl/](https://www.marketingbright.com/nl/)
   as it should
 * The domain for my **primary site** is [http://www.marketingbright.com/en/](http://www.marketingbright.com/en/).
   It should be HTTPS, but i can’t edit the domain within the wordpress network 
   settings (Network admin -> sites)
 * **How can i make sure that wordpress understands that the primary site is on 
   HTTPS?
    
   
    PS. The wordpress install is new (not an existing wordpress site) 
   The domain is secured with HTTPS from the beginning.

 * Via SQL sadly.
 * There’s a possibility this would work: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/)
 * But you’ll need to go into the DB abd look for wp_x_options (where X is the ID
   for the EN site) and change the home and site URLs there to https.
