# Https issue after importing site from wordpress.com

 * I imported a wp.com blog to a new self hosting and all is good at this NON SSL
   URL
    [http://goo.gl/qs7jR9](http://goo.gl/qs7jR9).
 * Problem is as wp.com uses ssl on all blogs https:// i have various https links
   in google search results that show a broken version of the new HTTP site, example
   here: [https://goo.gl/365gZh](https://goo.gl/365gZh).
 * 1. why do these https link show a broken version of the site.
    2. how do i get
   rid of these https links. 3. i have tried installing a ssl certificate but the
   https links are still broken. I have no need for ssl anyway.
 * any help would be great.

   with [http://example.com](http://example.com)
