 * I have installed the plugin, filled in the settings, but it is not used for existing
   links, and if I use the httpv url, nothing is displayed.
 * For example : httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmptYFu2E6M

    it looks like
   the https-links are “hijacked” by Elementor, which turns them into something 
   javascript-driven. not sure if there’s an option in Elementor for it _not_ to
   do that ?

   the [Elementor Video Widget](https://elementor.com/help/video-widget/) which 
   stores and outputs the youtube links and embed code in a different way than WordPress
   itself, so the WP YouTube Lyte plugin can’t detect it.

   Editor” in elementor and copy only the YouTube URL there as text, then WordPress
   should embed the video.
 * Or you add an “HTML” element in elementor and copy & paste the YouTube embed 
   code with iframe etc. there.
 * Then WP YouTube Lyte plugin can find and replace it.
