 * Goodreads has announced they’re switching from HTTP to HTTPS on December 4, 2017
   and that all Goodreads apps will need to make the switch to HTTPS on or before
   this date. Is an update to this WordPress plugin planned?

 * I don’t think any updates are needed, since Goodreads will redirect HTTP to HTTPS,
   and AFAIK the redirect will be handled fine by the plugin. But if not, the plugin
   will certainly be updated. 🙂
