# https version of site not loading stylesheet (mixed content error)

 * I love the simplicity of this plugin, and I’m using it on a few sites. I’m trying
   to now use it on a site that runs over https, and the stylesheet and js files
   aren’t loading over https, so I get a Mixed Content error in the console, like
   this:
 * Mixed Content: The page at ‘[https://site.com/&#8217](https://site.com/&#8217);
   was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ‘[http://site.com/wp-content/plugins/shiftnav-pro/assets/js/shiftnav.min.js?ver=1.4.0.1&#8217](http://site.com/wp-content/plugins/shiftnav-pro/assets/js/shiftnav.min.js?ver=1.4.0.1&#8217);.
   This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
 * I’m using the plugin SSL Insecure Content to help get https working on the site.
   Wondering if there might be a conflict there? Or maybe I’m missing something 
   simple. Any help I could get would be awesome!

 * Hey Taylor, a year later I have the same problem. Flushing the cache does work,
   but then a day or so later, it then sticks in non-https stylesheet links in the
   header (link rel=’stylesheet’) . Trouble is, it only uses the non-https stylesheet
   links on some of the pages and uses https on others.
 * Deactivating the plugin makes it all perfect. I tried to delete and re-install
   the plugin but the problem still exists. The problem page varies so it is not
   consistent.
 * Sorry I cannot give any specific problem page url as I had to take out the plugin
   to placate the client! but if it helps, it’s [https://heavenscentbliss.co.uk](https://heavenscentbliss.co.uk)
 * Please don’t say the site looks ok, of course it will – I’ve had to deactivate
   your plugin to keep my client happy.
