# HTTPS was working fine, now doesn’t

 * Hi!
 * I built this site in the Twenty Nineteen theme a few months ago, and at first
   the site showed up fine when I plugged in [https://theevolvingman.com](https://theevolvingman.com).
   A couple of weeks ago something stopped working, and now when I visit [https://theevolvingman.com](https://theevolvingman.com)
   I get a “Your connection is not private” error. Do you know what changed?
 * I would think it was an expired SSL certificate, but whatever SSL certificate
   I had wasn’t bought separately–when I built the site in Twenty Nineteen it automatically
   worked in https.

 * Hi, julianadorney, it looks like GoDaddy supplied the certificate so I would 
   suggest reaching out to them, as the certificate that you currently are using
   is expired.
