# https with the su youtube advanced shortcode

 * Seems there is an issue with https:// and the youtube advanced shortcode and 
   possibly WP 4.7.2.
 * had several youtube advanced shortcodes quite working once upgraded to 4.7.2.
 * url in shortcode had the https:// protocol, however the shortcode was generating
   html that had http:// not [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/https-with-the-su-youtube-advanced-shortcode/?output_format=md),
   so the video was not working.
 * I had to mark the “Force https:” option in the shortcode to get the video to 
   work. Seems this just starting happending once upgraded to WP 4.7.2.
