# How to rename the TAX text from VAT to GST

 * I am trying to rename the VAT text to GST with Woocommerce.

    1. Creating a new tax class and changing the tax name to GST worked, but it isn’t
       reflected under the invoice. The invoice only shows including VAT. Any help?
 * 2. The recommended plugin in the previous thread is outdated and unmaintained:

 * 3. The **WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips** plugin is awesome in customizing
   the invoices at no cost, but even that did not worked in changing the tax name
   from VAT to GST.

 * To ensure we are on the same page, may I know how you generate your invoice? 
   This is because, by default, WooCommerce doesn’t provide an option to create 
   an invoice.
