 * Is there a reason that HyperDB has _not_ been upgraded in the WordPress plugin
   directory download? trac has 1.3, but WP plugin directory 1.1

 * According to the plugin’s page:
 * >  Last updated:
   >  2 years ago Active installations: Fewer than 10 Requires WordPress
   > Version: 2.3 Tested up to: 4.3.12
 * > Is there a reason that HyperDB has _not_ been upgraded
 * Plugins / themes in the WordPress plugin/theme directory are upgraded by their
   developers. It’s up to the developers.
 * It’s possible the developer has abandoned this particular plugin. WordPress has
   placed a warning at the page which reads as follows:
 * > This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained
   > or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions
   > of WordPress.
 * That page also states that the plugin is `Tested up to: 4.3.12`

 * Yes. However, their trac shows a version 1.3 that is tested all the way up to
   4.7.3. It is just not pushed to the plugin directory and I am wondering why not.
   It is maintained by Automattic so I thought this would be an appropriate place
   to ask…
