# hyperdb file conflict – db.php

 * i need to install hyperdb plugin along with this query monitor. However, both
   plugin is using db.php file. So how to resolve issue?

 * after extended time of googling, I found the only way to resolve this issue is
   to remove the db.php symlink for query monitor and then add in the db.php for
   hyperdb. Cause query monitor works (less effectively) without the db.php file.
 * Just hoping there is a way to get both plugin working as there are also few other
   plugin that uses this db.php file such as w3tc.

 * Nope, unfortunately there’s no way around this currently. See [this previous thread on the same subject](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-with-w3-total-cache-file-dbphp-is-not-a-w3tc-drop-in).
