Hyperlink Creation fails

I recently upgraded my site to 3.6.1 and I can’t post a hyperlink. When I click the create hyperlink button – the box pops up, I input the link and click create link button. All that happens is my cursor goes to the top of the page and creates an additional space at the top of the page.

This happens with editing old posts or in draft posts. I’ve disabled all plugins and the problem still occurs. I don’t know if this is related to the 3.6.1 upgrade or not since I don’t create links that often. It may have been going on for a while.

Previously created hyperlinks function without any problems.
