Hyperlinks in Docs?

Maybe I’m missing it…but I don’t see a way to create a hyperlink in a doc. And text links are not converted to hyperlinks.

The TinyMCE visual editor has a keyboard shortcut listed under the (?) menu, but it doesn’t work for me.

I’m sure there’s a plugin or code to convert all text links to hyperlinks, but since most of the rest of my site already does that on it’s own, it seems to be overkill. I’d prefer that Docs did the work on it’s own.

If I’m overlooking the feature, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!
