# I delete header.php

 * by mistake, I logged on “appearance” then to the Theme editor.
    then I delete
   the codes in the theme header “Header.php”. I lost the format of the website.
   I need to restore the Header.php or someone write the codes to me. I use Construct
   WP.

 * Extract a fresh version of `header.php` from a recent backup, or from a fresh
   copy of the theme from wherever you sourced it (e.g. [https://themeforest.net/item/construct-construction-renovation-building-business-wordpress-theme/19509429](https://themeforest.net/item/construct-construction-renovation-building-business-wordpress-theme/19509429)).
   Then use FTP or the control panel provided by your host to upload the file to
   the `/wp-content/themes/construct/` directory.

 * Hello [@mada0202](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mada0202/), how did you
   download the theme in the first place? I see that it’s a commercial theme, therefore,
   you may need to download a .zip file, extract the contents and locate “header.
   php”. Then follow what [@pidengmor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pidengmor/)
   said above 🙂
