 * Oops!
 * If you don’t have a back up anywhere, I’m afraid it’s probably gone for good.
   However, it might still be in the cache of your browser somewhere, so you might
   want to search through that as soon as possible:

 * (You might want to try other people’s machines too if you know they have recently
   surfed to your site.)
 * If you have access to your server’s Linux shell, and if you know what you are
   doing with Linux, you could try this:
 * [http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linuxunix-recover-deleted-files.html](http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linuxunix-recover-deleted-files.html)
 * (I successfully used this process to locate a file I had deleted, but you really
   need to know what you are doing with Linux if you want to try this.)

 * Restore it from your last database and file backup??
 * Here is a [cached page from Google on Nov 19th](http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:ppgrcLLrK58J:craigstruck.com/+inurl:http://craigstruck.com/&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us)
   if scraping the source code will help to recreate it.

 * I really hope they do have a recent backup, though… so much easier.

   to another page of mine? Thanks for the quick responses guys.

 * The cached page was from an old site i built on WIX. I just had godaddy switch
   it over to wordpress once i had built the new site. I was not even aware the
   problem was there until i switched it

 * One more thing. The page is still listed under my menus just not under pages

 * Well, it looks as though you have already done what you wanted to do 🙂
 * If you really want the old home page back though, you should save the page in
   the Google cache that Clayton linked. I can see it too, so you should be able
   to. If you save it now, at least you have a copy, if you decide you need to rebuild
   it.
 * You might also want to talk to Godaddy – they might have made a backup of the
   site when they transferred it for you.
 * Good luck!
