    How do I change how much text that will be seen in the Icon Columns at the
   front page? It seems that all text available on the linked page will appear at
   the moment. Thx in advance.

 * I see that the theme uses the excerpt for the home page content. You can enable
   it and add there the text you want for the icon column.
