I’m not sure what you mean.
To be able to use the shortcode generator you have to install and enable the optional Vafpress framework: http://www.moewe.io/demo/installation-updating/ -> “Needed Plugins”
If you don’t want to install this plugin, you can just insert the required shortcode manually: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/before-after-image-slider-lite/other_notes/

I have the same issue.
I’ve downloaded the plugin and when I’m working on the page i don’t see any new icon over the editor box. on your screenshots page, on the last image i can see an icon that i don’t see on my page/dashboard WordPress site.
any ideas?

Hello Joan,
You still needed the “Vafpress” plugin to be able to use the shortcode
generator.
After inserting your shortcodes you may deactivate Vafpress, as it is not
needed for anything else than the generator.
