 * I inherited responsibility for a WordPress system, and the first thing that I
   noticed is that it’s not exactly speedy. These are the current plugins. Could
   anyone with some context for such things be able to point to any of these as
   worth considering eliminating, if possible, for performance reasons? Thanks.

 * Hi Pjf2000,
 * I would suggest giving this a go
    [P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)](https://en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/)
   Its good for seeing what plugins are putting a load on your site. You can then
   decide if each plugins features is worth that load.
 * Another one I found only recently that is also useful is
    [Query Monitor](https://en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/)“
   View debugging and performance information on database queries, hooks, conditionals,
   HTTP requests, redirects and more.”
 * Hope this helps..

 * Although, based on its age and the scathing recent reviews, P3 looks suspect,
   at least for a modern version of CF. What version did you test it on?
