# IE8 XP – shortcode alignment

 * OK did have done a bit of testing as a problem emerged.
 * I still use xp….never mind
 * but, my site works fine with chrome, firefox and with developer tools, IE7. If
   I use IE 8, then the legacy shortcodes for singlepic left and right stop the 
   pic from rendering – it’s there, but it stays as as a strip and does not open
   out – you can click on it for the shutter lightbox effect and it renders perfectly.
 * Using windows 7, another test area, the site works fine in firefox, chrome and
   all IEs up to 10 – yup including IE8…
 * Incidentally, it is also working fine with windows phone 7.5
 * Plugins I am using include insert php, php widget, jjnextgen slider,contact form
   7. Graphene Theme
 * Hope this is of use, I know xp has another year at best, but I am in a part of
   the world where it is still used a lot with IE8, so for me this is a problem 
   and backwards compatibility is still relevant.
