# Illegal string offset

 * Hi Guys,
 * When I activate this plugin I receive the following error:
 *     ```
       Warning: Illegal string offset 'name' in .../plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/plugin.php on line 105
   
       Warning: Illegal string offset 'description' in .../plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/plugin.php on line 107
   
       Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at .../plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/plugin.php:105) in .../wp-includes/option.php on line 748
   
       Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at .../plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/plugin.php:105) in .../wp-includes/option.php on line 749
       ```
   
 * Any ideas on how I might correct it? This error occurred after migrating from
   a shared host to a VPS, but even after deleting the sidebars I made, and deleting
   the plugin, and then reinstalling, the error remains/returns

 * Search your DB for ss-settings. Delete that record.
