# Illegal string offset && Uninitialized string offset: 0

 * Hello.
 * The plugin works great but with one problem.
 * I get these:
 *     ```
       Warning: Illegal string offset 'checkbox' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\bbpress-new-ui\bbpress-new-ui.php on line 18
   
       Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 0 in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\bbpress-new-ui\bbpress-new-ui.php on line 18
       ```
   
 * same on lines 19, 62 and 66.
 * I know why these warning occur but I’m unable to fix it.

 * Where and when you can get this error? When you try to activate the plugin? Where
   else?

 * I get the error when I sve without checking the box.

 * When I do check the box and save I get error Illegal string offset ‘checkbox’
   on line 66 in the admin and on the line 16 on the frontend

 * I have done a tempory fix i just copy everything over from the css file in the
   dark.css to custom css deactivate the plugin for now – this way the forum also
   getting the dark color 🙂
