# image alignment within block

 * Is there a way I can move an image within a block? I am using the Gutenberg editor
   and when I align the image using the menu, ie align left, the image automatically
   goes to the top of the block. I would like it to be at the bottom of the block,
   where I have text telling readers to refer to the image.

 * For advance positioning you may use some CSS. The editor has some limitations
   in this regard.

 * Often the parent block can control this. For example, if your image is in a column,
   you should be able to set the column to align items at the bottom using the editor.
 * I’m not really seeing the issue on the page you link, most images seem to have
   fine vertical alignment. Happy to provide more direction if you detail when (
   screen size/ device) and where the issue is happening.
 * After looking at your layout on the page you share, I see you aren’t using columns,
   so SirLouen may be right that custom CSS is necessary.
