    Need a wordpress plugin that will set the featured images and an excerpt on the homepage so that readers have to click read more. Anyone have a plugin for me? Example – http://goo.gl/37jXp

    That’s not a plugin, it’s part of the theme and how the theme is coded.

    You’ll need to edit your theme to do that.
