 * Hey there.
 * While reading and answering this, please keep in mind that I am quite simple-
   minded when it comes to coding, etc, etc.
 * I have three “pages” on my blog, excluding the main page of the blog. The main
   page of the blog (www.74shoreline.com) is fine with images and stuff – no trouble
   there.
 * The trouble is with the other three “pages.” They’re titled, “about me”, “linkies”
   and “some photos”, if you want to check them out on my blog. On them, I have 
   a few images posted (from Media Library), but they tend to not show up. They’ll
   usually actually show the image for a few minutes after I post them/update the
   post, but ten or so minutes later, they turn into a box outline with a blue box
   inside containing a question mark.
 * So, to summarize: images become error boxes.
 * I’m on Safari 4.0.3. I’ve also tried looking at the images on other browsers (
   Firefox, IE) and they’re still errored images on them.
 * Hopefully someone can help, as I’m sure this is a frequent question around these
   parts. On that note, I’m sorry if this has already been posted!

 * The images are there and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with your uploads
   path. However, I don’t think I’ve ever come across such huge file names!

 * Can I suggest that you try much shorter file names for your images and see if
   that helps?

 * So it’s just my computer that’s screwing them up for me? That’s a shame.
 * I shall definitely shorten them though, haha. Thanks for that.

 * **Edit**: Actually, now that I think about it, I actually can’t see images in
   my WordPress CP either.
 * Is there something I can do (aside from clear cache, hard refresh, etc, etc) 
   to help my situation out?

 * Double check your uploads path in Settings/Miscellaneous. It should be `wp-content/
   uploads`. It looked OK to me and Firebug was able to pick up the images but I
   could be wrong.
 * Also try:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

 * – [checking the permissions](http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions)
   on the uploads folder(s) (they should be 755).

 * I’ve tried all of these except increasing my memory and nothing has worked. Could
   it be the memory? Gahhh.

 * It’s possible that it could be a memory issue. There’s no harm in trying.
