    The problem is the google news does not use good links to their images…if you look at the xml file for the RSS feed, you’ll see the image link points to

    //t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQfZt00eKeEo6kETWbPxDakDS7K41hb65eNGYU9hOsSGR7NtKNbfxBNfRgF5EkUuI1S_AsiH1E

    and is not an image but likely a redirect.

    Thanks for your quick reply and excellent support. I know this isn’t related to your plug-in but do you have any suggestions on how I could get these images? Is it possible to write a script to follow the redirect and then update the RSS feed with the link to the actual image? Thanks again for your help, I’ll be sure to rate your excellent plugin.

    if you go and put that link into your browser, you’ll see it doesn’t show anything. In any event, I won’t be writing a script to deal with redirects….if someone else wants to give this a try, that would be great.
