# image not loading

 * I’m modifying the default wordpress theme in 2.5 but I’m running into a weird
   problem and I can’t find anything about it in the forum.

 * The link in the upper right should be an image, but now it only displays the 
   alt text. The image is shown perfectly when I look at it directly ( [http://www.galeriezoetbrood.nl/close.jpg](http://www.galeriezoetbrood.nl/close.jpg)),
   so it’s definitely there, and I’m linking to it directly, so why doesn’t it show?
 * I’ve never seen anything like it… Is there maybe some new and hard to find setting
   in version 2.5 that prevents the image from loading?

 * because your not linking to it. Did you validate? That will tell you what you
   have done wrong.
