Hi @faarukh,
Are those images located on your server or are they pulled from an external source?
If you check the image URL that is shown in the report the path to the image goes to your uploads folder but after that it points to alicdn which suggests that the images are not loaded from your server directly but are somehow still registered in your DB as being on your site.
From what I see Alidropship is a premium plugin so I would suggest checking this with their devs and see how the images are being loaded and from where.
If the images are downloaded to your media library then Smush shouldn’t have any issues optimizing them.
Are the images that are uploaded manually, without Alidropship, optimized fine?
Cheers,
Predrag
Hi Predrag,
I import the products via Alidropship plugin and the images are in my media library and my server too.
I already discussed this issue with Alidropship and they replied this:
“There is a problem from the Smush plugin end because the Alidropship plugin uploaded the images to the server, then Smush is supposed to optimize them.”

Hi Farrukh,
Have you tried uploading images regularly via Media panel to see if those images are optimized properly?
Can you ask them how is the image data saved in the database after the import because due to the errors in Smush are suggesting that the Ali CDN is being used in their paths?
Cheers,
Predrag
Hi
Yes, when I uploaded images regularly via media panel then it’s work fine.
About “Ali CDN” I will share this with Alidropship and when I got replied from them then I will get back to you soon.

Hi
Here is the reply from Alidropship:
“Ali CDN in the paths means you keep your images on Aliexpress server, not on yours.”

Hello there @faarukh
Could you please send me an email to [email protected] using this template:
Subject: “Attn: Dimitris”
Message: link back to this thread for reference
Keep in mind the subject line, as it ensures that it gets assigned to me.
Thank you,
Dimitris
Hi Dimitris,
I have done the email as you mention

Hello there @faarukh
It seems that the reported images are coming indeed from AliCDN, this is why they can’t be optimized. For example this image (replace “example” with your domain):
https://www.example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=6377&action=edit
is pointing into a CDN URL.
So you should ignore these error messages unless there’s a way from AliCDN to not import them in the Media library in the first place (not sure how this could affect other aspects of the e-commerce site though).
Warm regards,
Dimitris
