# Image Paths Wrong on Server

 * Hello,
 * I am working currently with a WordPress multisite to use the Multilingual Press
   plugin for a multilingual website . On my localhost everything works fine with
   the setup.
 * Now I have begun to set up the first site on my server (I have not created other
   subsites so far). If I am uploading pictures, for example a logo, the path **
   [http://seite-url/filename](http://seite-url/filename)** is assigned instead 
   of **[http://site-url/wp-content/uploads/year/month/filename](http://site-url/wp-content/uploads/year/month/filename)**.
   
   The files are in the correct folders , but of course the calls fail now due to
   the wrong paths.
 * Does anyone have similar experience or any idea wwhy that happens? On my localhost
   this does not happen, only on the server .

    EDIT : I just found out that only the Permalink is faulty . The file URL 
   is correct. I can see that when I click on `edit medium`.

 * Please try by changing the the Default Media Upload Location in Media under the
   setting option.After saving the path please update the permalink and check you
   site.
