Hi , in which page are you using the plugin ?
I’m using it on http://www.jellibeanjournals.com/home-page Sorry, I’d deactivated it last night, so you probably didn’t see it. Reactivated now! It looks like it’s not showing at all now though. Weird. When I’ve got that page set as the static frontpage it works, but since it’s not bringing up images properly, I don’t want to set it as the frontpage yet. Hope you can still help me!

go to Setting -> Excerpt Setting , and set
Display Image in excerpt :
featured image / first image only
Seems to work when I select a featured image on the setting to use featured image, but when I had it set to grab the first image in the post, many times no image showed up.
In my archives no photo shows, but I think it’s because I still need to set the featured images in the older posts.

Just see your homepage, i think the featured image method do the trick. Sometimes the content element (div/span/p) is some format that the plugin don’t understand so the first image method can’t find the first image.
To automatically generate media tool you can use this :
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/media-tools/
and after activation go to tools -> media tool and select “set featured image” (image below)

Anyway, we just give the plugin little update so the featured image will center.

Thanks, Todi. I’ll update this afternoon. The only other modifications you may want to consider with this plugin are:
1. Making the “read more” come at the end of a sentence or period so it doesn’t cut in the middle of a sentence.
2. Allowing users to enable excerpts on their homepage below a full post or a few full posts- such as add an option to choose how many full posts show up before the excerpts begin. It’s nice to show off the most recent post in full and the older ones below as excerpts. Just an idea.

the last one contain fatal mistake.. We have try it on our site hopefully its work as it should.
