# image size changes when installing different template

 * When I switched to another theme, all of my images changed sizes. Is there a 
   quick fix? I really don’t want to reupload hundreds of images?
    Thanks.

 * A lot of themes use sizes specific to the theme. But since WP makes those sizes
   on image upload you do not have the proper sizes now.
 * Use [Regenerate Thumbnails](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/)
   or [Force Regenerate Thumbnails](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/)
   plugin to recreate the sizes.
 * The difference between the two is that the second one will delete all the images
   made by the other theme, the first one won’t.

 * Thank you. Uploaded Regenerate Thumbnails, run it via Tools Menu, received confirmation
   that all images were resized. But nothing really changed.
