# Image source disappearing from code?

 * I’m having difficulty linking an image within a page.
 * This is what I’m entering and what the code looks like prior to saving:
 * ‘<div style=”text-align: center”><“appropriate link coding”><img src=”appropriate
   image source code”></div>’
 * I enter that code into the html editor and click update, the pic shows up in 
   the editor and I think “all is well”.
 * Then I click save and the code reverts to this and the pic is not visible on 
   the page:
 * ‘<div style=”text-align: center”><“appropriate link coding><!– –></div>
 * I’ve also tried placing the pic and linking it via the “buttons” on the text 
   editor, however that doesn’t work. Upon entering the link information, a new 
   window opens up with the following in the address bar:

 * I’m at a loss and if there is anyone out there that has experienced the same 
   issue and knows how to correct it, I’d appreciate your help.

 * Maybe the “appropriate link coding” and “appropriate image source code” is not
   sooo _appropriate_ as you think?
    (before anything else, disable the wysiwyg 
   animal and try to post code in that way)

 * Sorry! I was trying to post the code, but `backticks` were lost to me. LOL
 * Here’s the code I was entering:
 * `<div style="text-align: center"><a href="http://celiakyle.com/sinfullittlesecrets"
   ><img src="http://celiakyle.com/images/caye-banner.jpg"></a></div>`
 * With the wysiwyg editor on, it just removes the code for the image and displays
   nothing on the page related to the linked image. With it off, the coding remains,
   but the picture doesn’t show up.
 * If it helps, I’m running the following plug-ins:
    Filosofo Home-Page Control 
   runPHP WordPress Database Backup Contact Form ][
