Image upload issues

    Hello,

    i am having image upload issues. i absolutely need this problem resolved asap.

    its telling me :

    Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/phpqPvnNm) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/) in /home/medin134/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1815

    “IMAGE.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/medin134/public_html/wp/wp-content/uploads.

    can someone please help? (please include a step-by-step guide)

    rename IMAGE.jpg to some-other-name-with-lower-case and then check with host on max file upload size….(or as we do, use your computer’s image software to reduce the file size)

    Im also getting this, any other help? all my images are lowercase and have never had any issues with uploading to wordpress before
