 * Hi, Josie, and thanks again for all your help and for a great plugin! I am about
   ready to go live with the system, but a question came up that I wanted to put
   to you. The members would like to be able to upload a vertical image with the
   same resolution as a horizontal, ie allowing dimensions of 1920 horizontal and
   1920 vertical. Of course, a 1920 vertical resolution will typically require some
   scrolling. Apparently, the javascript disables the daughter window from resizing
   the image for the display. Is there a way to disable this so that the daughter
   window resizes the image as is the typical browser behavior? This way the judge
   can see a large vertical image in its entirety for judging composition, etc,
   and can then click on the image to enlarge it to full resolution to check for
   sharpness, etc. I know they can do this by using <cmd>+ or – (<ctrl> for Windows),
   but it would be less cumbersome to just click on the image to go back and forth.
 * I there a line that can be commented or removed in the code to allow this? If
   so, can you explain how to do it?
 * Again, thanks for everything!

 * **This question really belongs in the ewz-rating forum, not entrywizard.**
 * I’m afraid the quick answer is “no”.
 * It may be possible to get something to work in some browsers if you set them
   up correctly, but there does not seem to be a reliable cross-browser method of
   doing it without completely changing the code.
 * A couple of points:
    1. Browsers do not use the sort of accurate resizing algorithms
   your image editing software does. So there may be some theoretical risk of introducing
   artifacts that were not in the original image.
 * 2. Our club had several instances in which a judge set their window too small,
   failed to notice the scrollbar, and marked down some images for having items
   cut off. ( I’m hoping eventually to find a way to detect that situation and warn
   about it. ) I wouldn’t want to rely on them remembering to reset the zoom correctly
   all the time.

 * Thanks, Josie – sorry about posting in the wrong forum. I guess I’ll give the
   judges directions on resizing to fit on screen using <cmd>+ and – since a 1920
   high vertical image will not be completely visible without resizing. Thanks for
   your help.

 * That command will not work in all browsers. I would suggest resizing the images.
