 * ‘the image widget’ is not part of the wordpress standard installation; it is 
   probably a plugin [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/)
 * if your theme has dynamic sidebar(s), it is probably done by finding, downloading/
   upoading and activating the ‘image widget’ plugin.
 * it should then be available with the other widgets to drag into the widget areas
   in ‘admin’ ‘appearance’ ‘widgets’
