    Hi,
the website I am working on has a lot of pictures embedded via the Envira Gallery plugin. The sitemap is missing a lot of these pictures. One Page ist listed with 81 images but it should be 160 an other pages are listed with 1 image but it should be 40 etc…

Is there a way to get Yoast to just implement ALL images of the website into its sitemap?

    thx

  • Hi @manuelbwk

We understand you want to have the Yoast SEO sitemap detect images inserted via the Envira Gallery which is not currently happening.

Yoast SEO wouldn’t be able to parse the images inserted via 3rd-party plugin/theme gallery. However, the wpseo_xml_sitemap_img filter (documented here and here) allows you or your developer to add images to the sitemaps.

Unfortunately, there’s a difference between the support we can offer and the level of programming needed to change features of our plugin. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. Although we cannot be of any assistance, you’re completely free to change anything in the plugin to better suit your needs.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
