• Everytime I try to upload a new image with the same file name, it just won’t update for me to see the changes on my site in real time. I even deleted the plugin cache as well as my browser cache and it just refuses to update in real time. Takes forever. And no, I’m not using a CDN or anything. What else do I need to do? I really need to see my changes in real time or it just causes a lot of waiting and inconvenience. Please reply ASAP on this, thanks.

Let me tell what I understood.

You have an image which is /wp-content/uploads/river.jpg and you replace this image with a new image. You cannot see the new image when you open river.jpg via browser. right?

Yes, can’t see the new image right away, there is a delay, like about up to 30 minutes or more sometimes.

The problem is not about cache. The problem is about browser caching. You need to call the image with version number as below.

    /river.jpg?v=1

Ok but I thought if I cleared my browser cache it would automatically call up the new image instantly.

Chrome cache is too bad 🙂
