# Implement FTPES connection

 * I found [this support thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-backwpup-ftp-transfer-issue?replies=22),
   but it didn’t offer any resolution for using SSL over FTP, and checking the box
   to enable this feature still breaks it 5 years on.
 * Is there any known way to use an ftpes (the only secure connection our hosting
   allows) for backups?
 * Your plugin is great, and works well without SSL, but it’d be nice to enable 
   this feature.
