# Implimenting Adsense Code On My Posts

 * I have been approved for the first step of Adsense however I now need to actually
   place the ad code on my site. I had thought that I had done it correctly by copy
   and pasting but it was not done right. When I contacted customer service I was
   told that word press was putting page breaks on the code that were causing it
   not to function. I have some slight coding experience but not much.

 * I’d insert ads using a plugin, Google has their own WordPress plugin for this
   at [https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-publisher/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-publisher/)(
   It can be installed from your dashboard quite easily as well) which handles the
   inserting of ad codes the proper way.
