 * I am trying to import a csv file and I get the error below. The file is directly
   downloaded from the exported csv. I am just updating a new column with data in
   the cells. Email is included to match the user login name. Nothing was imported.
 * Row 2 | Invalid email “First_Name Last_Name” | error

 * [@mfoisset](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mfoisset/),
 * The program you used to edit the CSV file has either corrupted it or converted
   it to a non-standard format that the plugin does not understand.
 * You should use a program or service that handles CSV files properly. I always
   recommend LibreOffice Calc, although you can also use a service such as Google
   Drive.

 * I figure it out. When I tried your demo site it had these instructions:
 * File must contain at least **2 columns: username and email**. These should be
   the first two columns and it should be placed **in this order: username and email**.
   Both data are required unless you use [this addon to allow empty emails](https://import-wp.com/allow-no-email-addon/).
   If there are more columns, this plugin will manage it automatically.
 * Once I order the columns username and email. No errors. And I used Microsoft
   Excel, so that wasn’t the issue.

 * Great, if you read documentation it should work and sometimes, Excel in some
   localizations also creates badly the CSV so LibreOffice is a good solution in
   this case.
