# Import Export problems

 * I need to export a CommentPress site to another location. It’s on a multisite
   so it’s required a multisite exporter. When I’ve tried to upload the site as 
   a standalone site, it doesn’t work at all. I can upload my entire multisite and
   the CommentPress site is perfect (see [here](http://adareview.fembottesting.website/ada-issue-8-gender-globalization-and-the-digital/womens-ways-of-structuring-data/)).
   However, when I export the site data through the WordPress exporter and then 
   import to a new site, Commentpress comments are assigned to the whole page, not
   individual paragraphs (see [here](http://adareviewtest.fembottesting.website/ada-issue-8-gender-globalization-and-the-digital/womens-ways-of-structuring-data/)).
   Any ideas?

   data is stored in a custom column called `comment_signature` in the comments 
   table for the site in question (CommentPress predates the introduction of `comment_meta`)
   so you will need to export/import the comments table in its entirety with a tool
   such as PhpMyAdmin.
