# Import Issues

 * Hi,
 * I’ve got issues with importing content from wordpress.com. Here’s the situation:
 * 1) had a blogspot account and posted a bunch
    2) had a wordpress.com account,
   posted some more. 3) imported blogspot posts to wordpress.com account with no
   issues. 4) blogged some more. 5) bought hosting 6) created wordpress install 
   on hosting 7) exported posts as xml from wordpress.com 8) imported posts to wordpress.
   org account
 * The problem is, that with the install only the blogspot posts show up in my blog
   now. Any ideas what is causing this to happen?

 * Does the WXR file contain those posts? Use an editor to look at the file.
 * Backup your current database.
 * I think I seen people report they had to keep doing the import again and again
   to get all their posts imported.
