# Import posts from b2evolution

 * Hi, I’m currently usind wordpress 2.7 and I also have an old blog (not updated
   for ages) built using b2evolution 1.9.3, which I want to delete permanently. 
   I was wondering if there’s how to import the old posts from the old blog into
   my new wordpress blog. Is there a way to do it?
 * Note that my wordpress blog already has many posts and all I want to do is to
   import the old posts from b2evolution into my wordpress blog. in order to add
   content to the site.

   need, but most of this is automatic now. Just go to Import on your Tools Panel.

 * I have migrated b2evolution blog to wordpress. I used a script.
    What it does
   is selecting the contents of tables related to b2evolution and inserting them

   but there is no feed back !
 * I would really appreciate advise from those in the know on how best to do this–
   I am sure it must be ‘doable’ but un sure just what is the best way and how to
   retain existing permalinks is a priority.

   I did
 * Something that seemed so difficult was really so easy – the RSS importer worked
   like a charm – absolutely brilliant – thanks WordPress – you rock !
